SSO 9/5 - Pebble Creek


Riviera Utilities experienced a Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) event at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Pebble Creek Lift Station and ended at 11:15AM. Pebble Creek Lift Station is located and the west end of Melbourne Court in the Pebble Creek Subdivision off South Hickory Street in Foley, Alabama. This SSO event is the result of the lift station being hydraulically overloaded as a result of approximately 7-inches of rain in 24-hours as part of Tropical Storm Gordon. The SSO flow rate was estimated at 20 gallons per minute for 2-hours for a total overflow of 2,400 gallons to Bon Secour River.
