  3. Via Fax, Mail or In-Person: You may download an application from this website ( go to download forms). Complete the application and fax, mail, or bring it to the office with you for completion of service application. A picture ID is required.

Riviera Utilities sends mutual aid crews to Florida in response to Hurricane Idalia


Riviera Utilities sent 21 crew members to Florida to assist in mutual aid efforts post-Hurricane Idalia. Our crews departed for Gainesville, Florida, on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2022, to aid Gainesville Regional Utilities in restoration.

RU sent electric lineworkers, engineering coordinators, and a vegetation management crew. Riviera has an ongoing mutual aid agreement with Gainesville Regional Utilities, and we are happy to lend a helping hand to another public utility, as they have assisted us in the past.
