I love working with the people at Riviera.  I have made some really good friends since starting my employment here. I have to work so, getting my job done alongside my co-workers makes every day special.  They have become like family to me.  I have provided customer service for many years throughout my life and I have gained so much satisfaction knowing that I have helped customers.  I love making them smile and hearing the many compliments for being so nice and helpful to them.  Some days are hard but, for the most part, it is a job that I find very satisfying.

It is nice to have a job where you encounter something new every day.  There is always something to do so, why not do it to your fullest ability?  Whether that is troubleshooting electrical issues in a panel or fixing a link in Google Chrome.  Having a ready to learn mindset and a servant’s heart helps when working at Riviera.  This is a great place to work, full of people trying to make their way in this life.  Being able to smile and say a quick “hello” while passing through the hallway goes a long way.  Each us of us makes Riviera, the company, a whole.

My favorite thing about my job is the opportunity to work alongside my colleagues in the warehouse and line crew for over 16 years.  We are a brotherhood.  I love that there is always something new to learn.  I am really passionate about learning new things and I consider myself very fortunate to work in a field that is always changing and growing with new technologies, capabilities, and ideas.  My job requires a lot of multi-tasking and it never gets boring.  Roll Tide!

I enjoy being with the people of Riviera and experiencing how they are dedicated to the customers in solving their requests and overcoming their problems.  I enjoy helping our customers.  When we arrive at their homes, they are anticipating the worst-case scenario.  When we are able to fix their air conditioner at minimal cost, you can see the relief come over them.  It is rewarding to help people during these uncertain times we live in.

I enjoy working at Riviera Utilities because no two days are the same.  Getting to spend time with my co-workers, meeting new people each day, and going to different areas of our service area makes each day different.  Some people only see the trees we work with but I see the nature we are working in and how fast Baldwin County is becoming a beautiful place to live.  My satisfaction working for Riviera Utilities comes from knowing how I impact the area I live in.  That is a blessing, especially during the storms we have here.
