Your Bill

  As with all utilities, you will receive a bill each month. Riviera Utilities issues bills in 4 cycles, billing at different times during the month. Should you not receive your bill near the normal billing date, please call us as we cannot be responsible for delays in mailing caused by the postal service. Your billing date is determined by where your account is located in our system. All billing cycles are arranged geographically to make our meter reading efforts as efficient as possible. The amount of your bill is determined by a monthly meter reading taken by a meter reader. If you pay your bill before the late-after date provided on the bill, you can avoid the late charge. Each cycle has a late-after date which doesn't change month to month. Please use the return portion of your bill when paying so that proper credit may be given, and write your account number on the check when paying by check.

Billing terms

  Most of the information on your bill is easily understood, but there are a few terms that might require further explanation: KWH (kilowatt hour) - A unit used to measure electricity. A kilowatt hour is actually 1,000 watts used for one hour. As a reference, one 100-watt light bulb in operation for 10 hours would use one kilowatt hour.

  Save $3.00- Save money by paying your bill promptly. You can avoid having to pay a $3.00 late charge by paying before the deadline. If you have any questions about your bill, please contact us. Providing us your account number would be appreciated.

Delinquent Notices

  If you receive a delinquent notice and have made payment, please contact us. If you have not made payment, the account is subject to disconnection on the day after the final payment date provided on the notice.

Bank Draft

  Many Riviera Utilities customers find it convenient to have their bill paid automatically by their bank. Participation in Riviera's bank draft program is simple and free. Customers who pay their bills through the bank draft program will receive a monthly statement indicating the amount paid for their bill.

Speed Pay

  Paying your Riviera Utilities bill has just been made easier thanks to Speedpay, a convenient payment option that allows you to pay your bill instantly over the internet or phone.
  To make Speedpay payment by Mastercard/Visa, electronic check, Debit Card, or have your preferred method of payment and account number ready and follow one of these two easy steps:
