Account Transfers or Final Bills

 
Transferring accounts within the service area

   If you move within our service area, contact our offices at least two days prior to your need of electric service. This will give you the electric service when you need it, and you will be billed only for the electricity used. Transferring of other services, such as cable TV services, additional charges may apply. Contact Riviera Utilities Customer Service for more information.


 

Final Bill and Disconnect Service

  If you move outside of our service area, or want to remove your name from the service, contact our office as far in advance as possible, and give us your account number along with your presant and forwarding addresses and the date you want the service disconnected. Your final bill will be mailed to your forwarding address. If we are holding a deposit, it will be applied to your final bill, and if there is any remaining balance, a check will be mailed to your forwarding address.   If you are moving, remember, you are responsible for all account charges until you notify Riviera Utilities to close your account. Please have your utility account number ready when requesting a service change.

  This is no charge for electric reconnects unless the home is an RV that had service terminated for seasonal purposes, then the electric charge in $66.00. Natural gas reconnect is $40.00, Cable TV reconnect is $25.00. There is no FEE at this time for water reconnects.
