ELECTRIC SYSTEM
Meters Restored: 864, Eight Outages

Current Electric Issues/Challenges: Riviera Utilities crews have been responding to sporadic power outages throughout our service area, including portions of Point Clear, Fairhope, and Foley. Many of these outages have been caused by strong winds, vegetation, and heavy rainfall. As Hurricane Isaias creeps toward the Gulf Coast, additional outages are possible. Our crews will continue responding as conditions allow, with employee and public safety remaining our top priority.
Mutual Aid & Restoration Resources: Riviera Utilities has more than 100 contract lineworkers onsite and actively arriving to assist with power restoration efforts. Additional mutual aid crews, including personnel from Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA), are traveling to our service area to provide support.
NATURAL GAS SYSTEM
System Status: Planned Service Interruption in Affected Areas
Due to the threat of storm surge associated with Hurricane Isaias, Riviera Utilities is taking precautionary measures to shut off natural gas service to designated areas of Gulf Shores.
This decision is being made in the interest of public safety and in accordance with Riviera Utilities' emergency response procedures. We recognize the inconvenience this interruption may cause, but protecting our customers, employees, and community remains our highest priority.

SAFETY & PUBLIC INFORMATION
As winds and rainfall increase, customers should remain alert for downed power lines, fallen trees, and flooded roadways. Always treat downed power lines as energized and stay away.
